About me…

Hello, I’m Mary, a qualified Cognitive Behavioural Therapist (CBT) based in Glasgow. I have worked in the mental health sector for several years, including as a counsellor for young people at ChildLine and supporting people leaving psychiatric care. As a CBT therapist I support people struggling with a wide range of problems including:

  • Anxiety disorders

  • OCD

  • Depression

  • Panic and Phobias

  • Low self-esteem

  • Relationship issues

  • Self-harm and Suicidal ideation.

I offer a safe and compassionate space for individuals to explore their difficulties, finding new perspectives and strategies to overcome the problems they face. We can meet online, over the phone, or in person in Central Glasgow.

I understand how important finding the right person to support you through therapy feels. Send me an email to book a chat over the phone or on video call to see if I'm the right fit for you.

What is CBT?

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a highly effective, evidence-based form of psychotherapy that focuses on the relationship between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. At its core, CBT helps you identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviours that may be contributing to emotional distress, such as anxiety or depression. You are the expert in your own life, so I’m not going to judge you, give you advice or tell you what to do. Instead, we will work together to create a treatment plan that works for you and your needs.
